The Eberhart Foundation scholarship program provides direct support to  youth pursuing post-secondary education. A special committee evaluates applications on an annual basis. Award amounts are $500 per scholarship recipient. All college-bound high school seniors who meet the criteria listed below, are eligible to apply for The Eberhart Foundation Scholarship.  Students with an expressed interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Business/Finance are strongly encouraged to apply.

Mary J. Eberhart Community Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The Mary J. Eberhart Community Service Scholarship encourages and rewards students who make significant public service contributions to their communities. The program awards 1 scholarship worth $500. To be eligible, candidates must have performed a minimum of 100 hours of community service by April 30, 2019.

Community Service Hours from a registered non-profit organization or agency in Georgia or Oklahoma is required.

Requirements
• Demonstrate innovative, motivational leadership impacting academic, work, or community environments
• Submit a Personal Statement of Interest with application
• Minimum of 100 hours of community service by April 30, 2019.
• Interview in May or June 2019
• Student in Georgia or Oklahoma

Robert L. Eberhart Sports Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Robert L. Eberhart believed in the ability of using sports to teach young individuals important life lessons. He committed himself to helping student-athletes use sports to further their education, develop discipline, and become productive members of society. The Eberhart Foundation is proud to be able to offer $500 scholarship to a current high school senior student-athlete on his/her journey to play a collegiate sport.

The Scholarship Committee will award the scholarship to the student-athlete whose essay best demonstrates how sports have influenced his/her life as they pursue their college education.

Requirements
There are several ways that sports can influence an individual. Write a 400-500 word essay describing how sports have influenced your life as a student-athlete as you pursue your college education.

Lisa P. Eberhart Leadership Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The Lisa P. Eberhart Creative Writing Scholarship Program is for graduating seniors from high schools in the communities of Georgia or Oklahoma. An applicant must be a current senior in high school. The $500 will only be usable towards the cost of books. The check will be made out to the winner’s school of choice and credited to your academic costs. Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who plans to enroll in full-time undergraduate
study at an accredited four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year. Students will have to submit a creative writing essay.

Requirements
There are several qualities one must have to become a great leader. Some of those include the ability to inspire, the ability to delegate, commitment, and confidence. Which of these qualities do you think is the most important one for a leader? Write 400-500 word essay explaining why you chose that one quality.
